They dolearn the demo paths, range layouts, teaching theory, the safe effective and Efficient range principle, but they may not understand a thing about riding a motorcycle if it's not in the handbook. It would be nice if they understood what they're talking about, but not really required. Although major studies show that experience counts in the reduction of motorcycle crashes, Ridercoaches are encouraged not to deviate from the curriculum, they can share their experiences. Since the standards to become a Ridercoach are not lofty, it is best to select a training school with professionals that have become ridercoaches.</P><P>Ridercoaches generally may not be better riders than anyone in the average experienced rider population.</P>]]>
